The Tenth Annual International Coaching Week, held February 3-9, 2008, was a huge success. Coaches from the Bay Area of California to Providence, Rhode Island to Canada, Mexico, London and Munich participated by offering free coaching sessions, Q and A opportunities on their websites, workshops at local bookstores, "Coaching Parades" on the radio, and other public events. The ICF Chapter Heartland Coaches Alliance (in Kansas) provided a $5,000 grant to a local HIV/AIDS organization in honor of Coaching Week. These are but a few of the events hosted internationally by coaches to promote and celebrate the value of coaching world-wide.
Next year International Coaching Week will be held February 1-7, 2009. Stay tuned for more information.
